Co-lab, Copenhagen, Denmark
In Rádhildur Ingadóttir’s installation an intellectual universe unfolds originated in the artists dreams. In the backroom at Co-Lab the audience is greeted by a row of wax sculptures and a mass of knitted jumpers sat up in a geometric pattern against a wall painting. Geometry is a system for the artist, that illudes, contrasts even, the chaotic irrationality of the dreams. It is a method in which the artist places herself in the universe that simultaneously visualises an insight into the self and pulls it out into the world; into cosmos.
